Please take the time to write Mayor Mike Johnston to let him know we need immediate action to save Sloan's Lake, and we are done waiting for this to be a priority! The recent Fish Die-Off saw thousands of dead fish wash up on the shores of Sloan's Lake, and this is just the beginning of the problems to come. Contact Mayor Johnston to request the Sloan's Lake Sediment Removal Project be added tothe Denver Vibrant Bond. We must Dredge the lake to get it back to health, and useable for our recreation, our pets and the wildlife that calls the lake home.

Dear Mayor Johnston,
I am writing to express my deep concern about the deteriorating condition of Sloan's Lake. The lake's water quality has been declining with increasing algae blooms, and decreasing depth of the lake down to only 3 feet on average! The lake is in danger of stagnating and immediate action is needed to address these issues.
Please add the Sloan's Lake Sediment Removal project from the 2025-2030 Capital Improvement Plan to the upcoming Denver Vibrant Bond to ensure Sloan's Lake is brought back to health.
Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter.
Sincerely - Sloan's Lake Advocate

We can do something about it. The lake has filled in over the last several decades, and without action, it will never be useable by residents and visitors to Denver.
Currently no boating is allowed, and no swimming for you or your dogs!
Join us in making the restoration of Sloan's Lake a priority for the Mayor and City Council, and vote for those candidates who support the water!
